James E. Garon & Associates, Inc. was established in Austin, Texas during 1989. In 1990 a branch office was opened in Bastrop, Texas. Later, in 2001, all operations were combined into our Bastrop office.
The principal, James E. Garon, R.P.L.S. #4303, has been registered in the State of Texas since 1984. James E. Garon is licensed by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying and has worked in the surveying industry since 1975.
Our firm has provided surveying services to the residential and commercial retail development market, including projects from conception to completion involving Boundary and Topographic surveying, Subdivision Platting and Construction staking. We embrace technology that allows us to provide an accurate and professional level of service with substantial time savings. Our experience includes:

Surveying and mapping for governmental agencies for aquisition of property and right-of-ways,

James E. Garon & Associates, Inc. was originally founded as a surveying company. Our capabilities expanded to include civil engineering services. VanGarD Engineering, Inc. was formed for civil engineering consulting services to prvide site planning and subdivision design.
